Katrina Kaif recently made headlines for a commercial in which she co-starred with Gehraiyaan's Dhairya Karwa, and she has now officially announced the start of filming for an upcoming film Merry Christmas.
Katrina Kaif posted a photo of a clapboard with Merry Christmas scrawled on it to her official Instagram account. There are no other people in the photo, and she hasn't even captioned it. According to reports, she will complete the filming for Merry Christmas in one go, and the film will be released this year.
Ramesh Taurani's Tips Industries will produce Merry Christmas in collaboration with Matchbox Pictures Pvt. Ltd. As per reports, on December 23, 2022, the film will be released. This is Katrina's and Vijay Sethupathi's first time sharing screen time, as well as the actors' first association with director Sriram Raghavan. The film's production began with a live location in South Mumbai. After finishing the studio schedule, the crew will go to several locations throughout the city.
Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi hosted the film's premiere on Christmas Day. In December 2021, she shared a shot with her co-star and the rest of the cast on Instagram. Kaif started filming for the film earlier in December only, took a break, and is now back on the set of Merry Christmas, according to sources close to the actor.

Katrina Kaif's 2022 Schedule:
The teaser for Tiger 3 was recently released, and Kaif was shown in an action scene. The film will be released on April 21, 2023, and will star Salman Khan. The film was shot in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, and different locations in India. Emraan Hashmi is likely to make a cameo appearance in the film this time.
Meanwhile, Kaif will also star with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishan Khatter in the horror comedy Phone Bhoot, which is set to hit theatres on July 15, 2022. Gurmeet Singh directed the film, which is described as Bollywood's take on the concept of ghostbusters or ghost catchers.
