There’s Nothing Women Can’t Do: Kareena Kapoor Khan Shares Photo With Newborn Son

Kareena shares picture with son: Cuddling her son, new mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan shared the first photo of her newborn baby on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

"There’s nothing women can’t do. Happy Women’s Day my loves," she captioned the selfie which is the first picture of her second child that she has shared, since giving birth to him on February 21. The picture capture Khan's baby all bundled up and resting on her shoulder.

The photo has garnered love from Khan's fans and friends. Her sister-in-law Saba Ali Khan wrote, "You're a rock...love you." A fan wrote, "Aww happy women’s day bebo."

Last month, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is married to actor Saif Ali Khan, gave birth to her second child at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. She has always been open about her pregnancy and the challenges it brought. “I remember some long days and nights, without much sleep. Some were frustrating, as I tried inexpertly to calm my crying child. Some were simply bliss – as I treasured the new life that I had been able to bring into the world,” she said.

Sharing a note on Instagram right before her delivery, Kapoor noted, “The most important thing to building a relationship, whether at home, at work or in life, is somebody ‘getting’ you. Now, this is a two-way street. We want everybody to ‘get’ us, to understand us, but very few do. Sometimes those closest to us might not get us, but a complete stranger might."

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan had announced their second pregnancy last year. The couple had their first child Taimur in 2016.
