Kareena Kapoor Discharged: Kareena Kapoor Khan who gave birth to her second child two days ago at the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai has now returned home after discharge.
The couple along with nanny and elder son Taimur were spotted leaving the the hospital on Tuesday. Their elder son Taimur is four years old. As per reports the baby boy was spotted sleeping in nanny's arms. The star couple were photographed on their way and several of their fan pages on social media have shared the picture since. After the couple welcomed their second son on Sunday, actor Saif Ali Khan said, “We have been blessed with a baby boy. Mom and baby are safe and healthy. Thank you to our well-wishers for their love and support.”
The couple moved to their new home ahead of the Kapoor-Khan's delivery. The family, earlier today, was seen reaching their new residence. The photos of which soon went viral on the internet.
Kareena Kapoor Khan has been candid about her pregnancy, its challenges and its highs. Khan is among few celebrities who have spoken about breastfeeding and its importance for the babies’ health. She has believed that marriage and pregnancy don’t mean an end to the career of female actors in Bollywood. “I remember some long days and nights, without much sleep. Some were frustrating, as I tried inexpertly to calm my crying child. Some were simply bliss – as I treasured the new life that I had been able to bring into the world,” she said about motherhood earlier.
Kareena and Saif welcomed their firstborn Taimur on December 20, 2016. In August 2020 the couple announced in a joint statement that they were expecting a second baby.
“We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family !! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support. Saif and Kareena,” the press statement read.
