Kareena Kapoor 21 Years Of Bollywood: On the completion of 21 years of acting in Bollywood, marked by the 21st year of her debut film Refugee, Khan took to her social media to celebrate the milestone. Sharing a video clip of moments from the said film, Kapoor wrote, "21 more to go... I'm ready."
The video, which garnered more than 109,805 likes on Instagram in less than two hours and more the 400 views on Twitter in less than an hour, shows collaged moments from the romantic drama with Abhishek Bachchan.

The caption read, "21 years; Grateful, happy, blessed, motivated, passionate... 21 more to go... I'm ready; Thank you to everyone for the continuous love and support."
Amongst the flood of red heart emojis dominating the comments section, Singer Neeti Mohan wrote, "I remember watching Refugee - First day First show."
Taking to the cue, fans showered appreciation. One of the comments read, "love you bebo, there won't ever be anyone like you." While another comment wrote, "This was when I fell in love with you!"
Kareena Kapoor 21 Years Of Bollywood
The 2000 released film was also a debut film for Abhishek Bachchan who played a man who helped refugees from India and Pakistan cross over into either country. Kapoor played his love interest, a Pakistani woman, who unconventionally falls in love with him.
Last year, on the 20th anniversary of the film, the Dhoom star posted a note which read, "Time flies when you’re having fun! #RoadTo20 Today, 20 years ago JP Dutta’s Refugee released."
The said note added that first films are always most dear and special and Refugee was no exception. "A newcomer could not have asked for anything else," it concluded.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, Kapoor said on her first day at shoot, "I woke up this morning at 4, looked in the mirror, and said to myself that this was the best decision I could have ever taken."
On the work front, Kapoor is set to appear in the upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy drama Laal Singh Chaddha, directed by Advait Chandan.
