In a devastating incident, popular Kannada and Telugu actor Pavithra Jayaram, renowned for her role as Thilottama in the hit Telugu television series Trinayani, tragically passed away in a car accident in Mahbubnagar district, Telangana. The fatal accident occurred during her return journey from Bengaluru to Hyderabad on April 12.
According to the Bhoothpur police, the accident took place around 1 a.m. at Divitipally in Mahbubnagar district. Pavithra was travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad when her car lost control and collided with a divider. Subsequently, her vehicle was struck by a bus, resulting in the tragic demise of Pavithra at the scene. Her cousin and the driver sustained severe injuries in the accident, and further details are awaited regarding their condition.
