Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii is one of the most well-known and popular television shows. This show became one of the most watched serials and grabbed viewers for eight long years with its distinctive and sympathetic plot. The serial was broadcast on Starplus from October 16, 2000, to October 9, 2008. The lead actors in this daily series were Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar.

The plot of the serial revolved around a Marwadi joint family of Parvati and Om Agarwal, where Parvati is the ideal daughter-in-law and Om is the ideal son. Tanwar played Parvati and Karmarkar played Om. Achint Kaur, Ali Asgar, Anup Soni, and Shweta Kawatra all had significant roles in the serial.

Ekta Kapoor has been releasing the second instalments of her popular serials for a while now. The second season of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kavach, and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain has arrived, and now it is the turn of the Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii.

If reports are to be believed, the second season's story has almost written. The team is now working on the serial's cast. As soon as everything is settled, the show will be shot. However, there has been no official statement regarding the release date of the serial.

In an interview, Tanwar, the lead actor in the serial, previously spoke about her commitment to her first successful show. The actor admitted that aside from working really hard for the show, she did nothing else while filming for it. She went on to say that during those eight years, work was the only thing that mattered to her.

The actor also said that because she didn't have time, she skipped every wedding over those eight years. Tanwar, however, has no qualms about it because she holds the opinion that although television can be demanding, "nothing polishes you like television." She last appeared in the web series Mai: A Mother's Rage and the movie Samrat Prithviraj.
