K-Stars Who Made Donations On South Korea Children's Day: Bae Suzy, J-Hope and Kim Go Eun have made donations to help children in need in honour of Children’s Day in South Korea.

May 5 marks Children’s day in South Korea and is a national holiday. To celebrate the day, Korean-pop idols like J-Hope from BTS, singer-turned-actor Suzy and actor Kim Go Eun made donations to help out children in need. These Korean stars are all known for making regular donations to various charitable causes.

On May 4, the management agency of Bae Suzy confirmed that the star has donated 100 million won (approximately 6602540 rupees in Indian currency) to the Happy Sharing Taekwondo Federation. Suzy’s management agency further revealed that the money will be used to support children in orphanages and young adults.

J-Hope, a member of popular K-pop band BTS made a donation to a development organisation for children that provides various help for kids in need.

The ChildFund organisation that benefitted from J-Hope's donation announced on May 4 that the singer has “donated 100 million won for the support of children in Tanzania exposed to violence”. The donation will also go towards a support system that is set up for the prevention of violence and abuse against children in Tanzania.

Actor Kim Go-eun donated 50 million won (approximately 3292610 rupees in Indian currency) to the Seoul National University Children's Hospital. This donation will be used to support children from low-income families and adolescents who have difficulty affording treatments due to financial problems.

Go-eun said, “I wish these children can go to school and meet their friends as soon as possible." She also added that she will continue to give both material and emotional support to the kids in need. “I hope that my donation will be of some help,” she said.
