Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor will be starring together in an upcoming romantic drama. The announcement was made on September 17, with the producers sharing a poster and the film’s release date on Instagram. Directed by Advait Chandan, the movie is slated for theatrical release on February 7, 2025.

Everything We Know About Khushi and Junaid’s Project

The film is rumoured to be an adaptation of the popular Tamil hit Love Today. In February 2023, Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment announced their collaboration for the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Love Today.

Directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, the quirky romantic drama follows a couple, played by Pradeep and Ivana, who are forced to exchange their phones for a day, leading to unexpected consequences.

Srishti Behl, CEO of Phantom Studios, expressed excitement about bringing the film to Hindi audiences, saying, "We’re thrilled to partner with AGS Entertainment to recreate Love Today in Hindi. The film offers a fresh, engaging perspective on love in our tech-driven world, aligning with the authentic and thought-provoking storytelling that Phantom Studios is known for."

The original Tamil version, currently streaming on Netflix, also stars Sathyaraj, Yogi Babu, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Raveena Ravi, and Ivana in key roles.

About The Cast

Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late actor Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, made her debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies on Netflix, where she played the role of Betty Cooper. The film, an Indian adaptation of the famous comics, also featured Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and others. 

Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan, also began his acting journey through OTT platforms. He made his Bollywood debut in the Netflix release Maharaj, where he portrayed the reformer and journalist Karsandas Mulji. The film, which also starred Sharvari, Shalini Pandey, and Jaideep Ahlawat, was well-received by the audience.
