Devara: Part 1, starring Jr. NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, is set to release in theatres on September 27. The trailer for the film was unveiled on September 10 following the release of two love songs featuring the lead actors.
JR NTR & Janhvi Kapoor's Devara Trailer Is Here
The trailer, which runs for 2 minutes and 39 seconds, gives viewers a glimpse into a world dominated by the sea and land, with a dramatic tale. It begins with a scenic view of the sea, reminiscent of classic pirate films. A voiceover asks, "Who were those people? With no caste, no religion, and no fear." The trailer then shows a village scene with people carrying torches, leading to Saif Ali Khan’s powerful entry as Bhaira, a warrior fighting for his people. His introduction is accompanied by the narration, "The eyes that knew only courage witnessed fear for the first time."
The story revolves around Devara, played by Jr. NTR, and his community. NTR’s character is introduced with grand imagery, as villagers kneel in respect when he walks by. However, the peace is disrupted by an intense confrontation between Devara and Bhaira. Although initially shown as allies, it becomes clear that Saif’s character has plans to kill Devara.
A unique twist in the trailer reveals that Jr. NTR is playing dual roles. Apart from the fearless Devara, he also plays Varadha, a quieter and more reserved character who is completely different from his father. Janhvi Kapoor plays the love interest of Varadha, adding a romantic layer to the storyline. The trailer also provides glimpses of other key characters, including Prakash Raj, Ajay, and Getup Srinu.

[A thread] 10th one is the best
1. In this scene we can see Bhaira (Saif Ali Khan) killing Navy Officers in front of Devara, it shows he is not afraid of Devara. We can also observe fear in others… pic.twitter.com/XlQf2DxKJx
#Devara Trailer Review - #JrNtr & #Anirudh BGM is the only saving grace of the trailer, rest all looks very dark, apart from one or two scenes rest all are forgettable also narration resembles to KGF…. I wish makers of Devara, JrNtr best wishes and good luck, hope the film… pic.twitter.com/0264TikBJy

Underwhelming trailer! Same old South movie formula, nothing new or exciting. No reason to watch in theaters, star cast isn't impressive enough. Better suited for YouTube, not a pan-India release. Disappointing and unoriginal. #DevaraTrailer #JrNTR #DevaraTrailerOnSep10th https://t.co/Lda3FyIY7R

I found #DevaraTrailer absolute trash. I love larger than life movies but this seemed too unrealistic. That shark scene is a joke. But despite all this, the fact that everyone around is talking about it even if its negative, the awareness for the film is absolutely commendable.👏
