According to an announcement made by her family, Josephine Chaplin, actor and daughter of legendary comedian Charlie Chaplin died at the age of 74 in Paris. She was the sixth of the Chaplin's eleven children.
Josephine made her screen debut much early at the age of three in her father's 1952 film limelight.

Josephine Chaplin is survived by her 3 sons Charlie, Author, Julien Ronet, and her 7 siblings. Sisters Geraldine, Victoria, Jane, Annette, and brothers, Michele, Eugene, and Christopher.
Though she made her acting debut with her father's 1952 film Limelight, she excelled in her acting career well off with films like The Canterbury Tales, L'odeur des Fauves, Escape to the Sun, and many other big classics while she also starred in some dramas like The Bay Boy, Hemingway. Josephine was mostly known for her work in French cinema.
Josephine was born in March 1949 in Santa Monica, California. She is the third of eight children of Charlie Chaplin's marriage to his second wife Eugene O'Neil. Chaplin and O'Neil got married when she was just 18 while Chaplin was 52 but are said to have finally found their happiness in each other.
Josephine was married twice, first to a Greek Businessman Nikki Sistovaris with whom she was married for 8 years before they divorced, and Josephine moved to Paris to live with her co-star Maurice Ronet, and when he died she married again to an archaeologist Jean-Claude-Guardin', while she was also rumoured to be living with her co-star Ronet.
Josephine has been living in Paris for a long time and was caught up in the news last in a bizarre extortion of plot when after her father's demise two men stole silent comedy legend Charlie Chaplin's body and coffin while the remains were recovered 11 weeks later.
While the iconic silent comedian Charlie Chaplin died at the age of 88 years with his cause of death said to be of natural causes in his house in Switzerland, Josephine Chaplin's cause of death is yet not announced by her family members.
