Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Get Married, All You Need To Know Her Wedding Dress

Actor, singer, and dancer Jennifer Lopez and actor Ben Affleck got married on July 16 in a small ceremony. The couple had first gotten engaged 20 years ago and had called off their wedding in 2004. Lopez and Affleck got back together last year and were engaged for a second time this year.

Jennifer Lopez confirmed that she and Ben Affleck tied the knot in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lopez revealed in a statement that the couple wore “a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet” for the wedding ceremony. They got married in front of their five children. Lopez has two children with former partner Marc Anthony, Emme Maribel Muniz and Maximilian David Muniz. Affleck is the father of three with former partner Jennifer Garner, Violet Anne Affleck, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, and Samuel Garner Affleck.

The couple had postponed and then cancelled their first planned wedding and split up due to intense media scrutiny. Following the wedding, Lopez wrote in her newsletter On The JLo “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.”

Lopez said that the couple barely made it to the wedding chapel by midnight, but the chapel “graciously” stayed open late. She described it as the “Best night of our lives”.

Lopez signed off on the message as Jennifer Lynn Affleck.

According to court documents, 52-year-old Lopez and 49-year-old Affleck received their marriage license on July 16 in Clark County, Nevada. The license revealed that Lopez plans on changing her name to Jennifer Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez had two wedding dresses for the occasion, the first dress was the “something old” as per tradition. She revealed in her newsletter On The JLo that “I’ve had this dress for many years, and I’ve just been saving it, saving it, saving it, and now I’m wearing it on my wedding day”.

Lopez’s hairstylist Chris Appleton shared the same clip on Instagram.

Lopez changed into a Zuhair Murad bridal gown for when she and Affleck exchanged their “I Dos”. The dress by Murad was featured in a 2022 film she starred in Marry Me.
