The specific cause of the protest is unknown, but the signs read, "Extinction Revolt." The scene involved her character, Alex Levy, being surrounded by protesters who threw the oil at her.
The Morning Show has been a critical success, recently earning numerous Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for both Aniston and her co-star Reese Witherspoon.
