Jee Le Zaraa: Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) completes a decade this year and director Zoya Akhtar has decided on her next road trip based film Jee Le Zaraa featuring A-listed women actors of Bollywood including Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Alia Bhatt.
Ever since the much-loved movie ZNMD that focussed on the road trip of self-discovery was released there has been talks of a sequel. And, On Tuesday, Zoya has announced the project with an Instagram post writing, "Did Someone Say Road Trip?" She also released a clip announcing the film's name Jee Le Zaraa. This will be directed by Zoya's brother, filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar. In the short video, it is written that the film will star Kaif, Chopra Jonas and Bhatt in lead roles while it is also written by Farhan, Zoya and Reema Kagti. The film will be made in collaboration with Excel Entertainment and Tiger baby Films.
Farhan and other star casts of the film have also taken to their respective social media handles and shared the video. While Kaif was the lead actor in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Chopra Jonas was the co-star of Farhan in Dil Dhadakne Do movie directed by Zoya and Bhatt was the lead in Gully Boy also helmed by Zoya.

Going by the clip shared by the makers, the storyline of this road trip adventure-based movie will this time around be focussed on the ladies and their self-discovery. It was earlier speculated that actor Hrithik Roshan who was the star of ZNMD is expected to do a cameo in Jee Le Zaraa.
The film will reportedly go on the floor in September next year. It is a slice-of-life film, Farhan told Variety, with three women on the road.
Earlier this year, Zoya Akhtar celebrated Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara's 10 years with a special BTS video. She shared the video on Instagram with the caption: "An unforgettable ride."
