All You Need To Know About Jaya Bachchan's OTT Debut 'Sadabahar'

Jaya Bachchan OTT Debut Sadabahar: Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan is all set to make her digital debut after Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. The project is tentatively titled 'Sadabahar' reportedly backed by Endemol Shine India and has already started its shooting.

According to Mid Day, the shooting of the film started in February this year but it came to a halt due to the rise in COVID-19 cases during the second wave of the pandemic. Bachchan is reportedly getting back on the project and has started shooting for the past three weeks.

According to a source, the team of Sadabahar shot at Sony Mony and Apna Bazar in Andheri this week in a bio bubble shoot. The shooting is being done at real locations and the makers are trying to keep the crew to a bare minimum, hence a team of 50 people have been handpicked to work in a bio-bubble.

No other information regarding the plot, cast, or release date has been made public yet. Bachchan was last seen on the big screen in a special appearance in the 2016 film Ki and Ka. As per reports Bachchan might also be seen with a Marathi film directed by Gajendra Ahire, who is known for his films like Shevri and Anumati.

The actor celebrated her 48th wedding anniversary with Amitabh Bachchan on June 3 this year. Later Amitabh Bachchan shared an unseen picture of the couple from their wedding day on his blog and thanked everyone who wished them on their special day.

Bachchan wrote, "Your wishes and your gracious words have been most moving and filled with love for us and we truly appreciate them. For today and now. (sic)"

The couple were first introduced to each other in 1971 on the set of the film Guddi in which Amitabh Bachchan was reportedly cast as the lead and was later replaced. They first appeared together on the screen in the 1972 film Bansi Birju and had a low-key affair after getting to know each other. The couple got married on June 3, 1973.
