Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan got married in a private ceremony which was attended by their friends and family members. The ceremony was held in a private location in Goa on March 15.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had permitted the cricketer to take a leave for his wedding. “Jasprit Bumrah made a request to BCCI to be released from India’s squad ahead of the fourth Test owing to personal reasons. Accordingly, the fast bowler has been released and he will not be available for selection for the fourth Test," said the BCCI statement.
The couple got back to work very soon after their wedding. Sanjana Ganesan who is a software engineer by education and sports anchor by profession returned to host the 14th season of IPL. She was spotted in a blue dress at the which indicated her support for her husband's team, the Mumbai Indians.
Star Sports made an announcement about her recent comeback on Twitter. They had announced that she was all ready to host the first match of the IPL series between Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians and Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah and his team started off on a winning note in their IPL match with Kolkata Knight Riders.
