Jasmin Bhasin on suicidal thoughts: Television actor Jasmin Bhasin, who gained popularity after her reality show Bigg Boss 14 appearance, recently opened up about how she struggled with suicidal thoughts and overcame it by learning to love herself.
Bhasin, in an interview with &t=685s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bollywood Bubble, shared that there was a dark phase when she had "lost confidence in herself." However, she fought the negative thoughts by "accepting her flaws."
Talking about her mental health, she explained how she went through that phase for several years before and after moving to Mumbai. "Woh ladai meri khud ke saath thi because kahin na kahin, I was losing confidence in myself. I thought I am flawed, my skin has flaws, I don't look good and that's why I face rejections every day," the Bigg Boss 14 contestant admitted she was struggling in the initial days of her career.

Bhasin explained how everybody can end this struggle just by accepting "yourself the way you are" first." She shared the mantra is to "feel confident about yourself" and be determined about what you want to do and make sure you give at least a hundred percent doing it.
The 26-year-old recently opened up about how her unwell mother needed a hospital bed and her elderly father had to run around to ensure medical care for her. Bhasin said that she is overwhelmed by the whole process and is "disappointed and heartbroken" at the situation and how the people of the country are going through similar and worse experiences amid the pandemic. She tweeted about reported deaths every day and how people on the streets are trying to find beds and oxygen. She informed her mother was in the same situation a few days back where "finding a bed was a task" for her and her old father. He was running around to find medical care for her, she noted. Many are going through the same while others are losing their loved ones, family. Who do we blame? Has our system failed?, she asked on Twitter.
