To mark late actor, Sridevi's 59th birth anniversary today on 13 August, her daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor shared throwback pictures on social media. Sridevi died in 2018, just a few months before Janhvi Kapoor's debut film Dhadak was released.
Janhvi has dug out her childhood picture which sees Sridevi all decked up in a red sari while she hugs her elder daughter.

Sharing the picture early Saturday morning, Janhvi wrote, “Happy birthday Mumma. I miss you more and more every day. I love u forever." Manish Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, and Zoya Akhtar dropped heart emojis in the comments section of the post. Unlike Jahnvi, Khushi shared a more recent picture of her mother.
Sridevi married film producer Boney Kapoor in 1996. They had Janhvi on March 6, 1997, just a few days after her film Judaai was released. Their daughter Khushi was born in 2000. Sridevi breathed her last on February 24, 2018, in Dubai, where she had gone to attend a family function.
Born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan in 1963, she’s known for her iconic roles in Hindi movies like Chandni, Lamhe, Mr India, Chaalbaaz, Nagina, Sadma and English Vinglish, among many more.
The Padma Shri awardee also made a mark with her extraordinary performances in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films.
Her last film was Mom, for which she also received the Best Actress National Award, posthumously.
On the work front, Janhvi was last seen in Goodluck Jerry. Next up, she has projects like Milli, Mr And Mrs Mahi and Bawaal lined up for release. While Milli is produced by her father, Boney Kapoor, Mr And Mrs Mahi will see her reunite with her Roohi co-star Rajkummar Rao for the Karan Johar production. Khushi will his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies with Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan and Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda.
