Janhvi Kapoor recently hosted a bachelorette bash for Radhika Merchant, Anant Ambani's soon-to-be bride, about three months before their wedding. Radhika Merchant, the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, got engaged to Anant Ambani in December 2022 in Rajasthan's Nathdwara. In March 2024, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, parents of Anant Ambani, hosted a lavish pre-wedding celebration in Gujarat's Jamnagar, attended by top Bollywood celebrities, tech magnates, and other prominent personalities from across the globe.

On April 13, Anant Ambani, along with Isha Ambani and Shloka Ambani, were spotted visiting Boney Kapoor's residence late at night. Following the circulation of paparazzi videos and images, rumours surfaced suggesting Janhvi Kapoor's engagement to Shikhar Pahariya, known for his close ties with Anant. Just as the news was about to hit the headlines, Radhika Merchant deflated the excitement by sharing an inside picture from the night. Merchant shared snippets of the girls' night on Instagram, expressing her gratitude with the caption "Blessed with the best." Anjali Merchant Majithia was among the attendees.

On April 15, Janhvi Kapoor shared photos from the bachelorette party, captioning them, "A Princess Diaries Royal slumber party 💕 for the most special bride 👰‍♀️." The tagged guests included Krisha Parekh, Srashti Soni, Nikita Chowhan, Anjali Merchant, and Shauna Gautam. The bachelorette party had a baby pink theme, with the bridesmaids wearing satin sets in the same colour. Radhika Merchant stood out in a white outfit. The décor featured pink elements, including pink hearts in the background.
