James Gunn And Jennifer Holland Got Married, See Pics

Actor Jennifer Holland and filmmaker James Gunn recently got married in a private ceremony. Gunn shared images from their wedding on Instagram on Friday, September 30. He also mentioned that a Marvel vs. DC softball game was a part of the celebrations. As the director of both Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad, Gunn is one of the very few filmmakers who have worked on both franchises.

The wedding pictures of Jennifer Holland and James Gunn featured Holland wearing a floral white gown and Gunn donning a green suit. The first picture shows the couple's first kiss as spouses. A video from the wedding is also shared after the first picture. The solo pictures from the wedding give a great peek at the two's wedding attire. They also had custom Funko Pop cake toppers, which are also shown in a picture.

Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Gunn made a mutual post with his wife, Holland and wrote, "After over 7 years together, I finally married the love of my life, @jenniferlholland. What an incredible, beautiful, stunning day surrounded by the most wonderful family and friends in the world. And, yes, that’s a moose that showed up as the ceremony began!" The filmmakers also wrote about the Funko Pop cake toppers, "yes, @originalfunko made our wedding cake toppers designed on our actual tux and gown (Jenn wouldn’t let me see them before the wedding because her dress was too perfectly done!)"

He continued by saying that there had been a DC vs. Marvel softball game as part of the wedding celebrations, hinting that the players in the game were actors and crew from his superhero films. He wrote, "We had Sunday fun festivities including a Marvel vs DC softball game (@michael_rooker played on both teams!)"

After being together for more than seven years, Holland and Gunn decided to get married this year, and they made the announcement of their engagement in February. Gunn wrote and directed the film Peacemaker, in which Holland starred. The 2019 movie Brightburn was their first joint venture. Additionally, they collaborated on the DC Extended Universe movie The Suicide Squad in 2021.
