Jahaan Chaar Yaar Trailer, Starring Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania Released

The upcoming film Jahaan Chaar Yaar tells the story of four married friends who travel to Goa in search of escape from their routine lives. Swara Bhasker, Meher Vij, Pooja Chopra, and Shikha Talsania play the 'chaar yaars' in the comedy-drama. The trailer was released today to give viewers a glimpse into the main characters' lives.

The film shows Meher Vij and Pooja Chopra accompanying Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania as they escape their lives as middle-class housewives on vacation in Goa. They have no idea that their vacation will bring them a series of events that will change their lives.

The trailer for Jahaan Chaar Yaar was released on Monday with a description that read, "The story of Chaar Yaars, dedicated housewives whose lives revolve only around their husband and family, decide to take a trip together to Goa. Presenting the official trailer of Jahaan Chaar Yaar, hop on to the masti-filled and adventurous ride of our Chaar Yaars as they navigate through life, friendship, freedom & learning to love themselves."

In the Jahaan Chaar Yaar trailer, four middle-class women, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij, and Pooja Chopra, are seen to be in some sort of loop. The trailer reveals that Bhasker's character is done washing her entire family's dirty clothes, and Chopra's character is shown dealing with abuse from her husband. While Talsania's character is worried as her spouse rejects her love. The women decide to take a trip to Goa to unwind, get away from their hectic lives focused on their husbands and kids, and revitalise their spirits.

The movie is produced by Vinod Bachchan. He noted of the film, "Jahaan Chaar Yaar is not only the tale of four female friends; it is a story that would make everyone smile widely. It will genuinely inspire viewers to grab their luggage and embark on a trip with their friends. " The movie, which Kamal Pandey both wrote and directed, will release in theatres on September 16.
