Jaane Jaan Trailer: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vjay Varma In New Thriller

The Jaane Jaan trailer was officially released on September 5th. It offers a glimpse into a realm filled with darkness, intricate relationships, and concealed mysteries.

The makers of Kareena Kapoor’s Jaane Jaan released the first trailer which also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Khan has assured that Jaane Jaan will present her in an entirely novel persona, blending romance with suspense, unlike anything seen before.

Located in Kalimpong, the Jaane Jaan trailer presents the tale of Maya, whose life is shrouded in mystery. The trailer commences with Kareena's character, Maya DSouza, concealing a secret from her neighbour, portrayed by Ahlawat. Varma portrays a police officer who arrives in Kalimpong to probe a case, and DSouza becomes his primary suspect. As a result, D'Souza must ensure that her secrets remain concealed from these two men.

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Jaane Jaan is an adaptation of the Japanese novel The Devotion of Suspect X. Kareena Kapoor Khan is reported to play the role of a divorced single mother who tries to hide the murder of her estranged husband with the help of her neighbour while the police conduct an investigation.

Sharing her experience of working in a thriller film, Kareena Kapoor told the Press Trust of India that she jumped at the opportunity as soon as the director offered her the film. She added that working with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat had transformed her and made her believe in different things as they are actors from different realms, which added freshness to her character and herself.

Kareena Kapoor was last seen in Laal Singh Chandha alongside Aamir Khan. She will also be seen in The Crew with Tabu and Kriti Sanon. She will also be starring in Hansal Mehta's next project.
