On Irrfan Khan’s birthday today, Bollywood remembered the legendary actor. Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra and other female actors paid tribute to the actor. Irrfan Khan died last year in April after struggling for two years with cancer.
Irrfan found success and fame quite late in his career and widespread appreciation for the roles he played. One couldn’t get enough of the charisma he had while playing any role. He brought to life every character he played. From Raj Batra, the hassled husband and father who wants to enrol his only daughter into the city’s top English medium school, the nuanced character of a lonely soul in Lunchbox to the flirty and cheerful Yogi in Qarib Qarib Singlle, he won hearts in every role.
Here are five female Bollywood actors who paid tribute to the star.
Anushka Sharma
Anushka shared a picture of Irrfan on her Instagram story and wrote, “A legendary figure of the industry. You will always be missed and your legacy will live on forever”.

It’s his birthday today but the presence he has in all our hearts is felt every day. Happy birthday Sir”.
