OTT Platform Gears Up For Juhi Chawla Starrer 'Hush Hush', Shares New Poster

On March 8 last year, an OTT Platform had announced a series starring an all-women cast, Hush Hush. The upcoming series, made by an all-women crew, stars actors like Juhi Chawla and Ayesha Jhulka.  The upcoming web show also features Karishma Tanna, Soha Ali Khan, Sahana Goswami and Kritika Kamra.

Juhi and Ayesha, both actors who delivered memorable performances in iconic 90s films, will be making their digital debut with the series.

Juhi is famous for movies like Bol Radha Bol, Duplicate, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. While, Ayesha was seen in hits like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Khiladi, Rang and Sangram.

Juhi Chawla's Hush Hush Release Date

In a 30 second long video released by the OTT platform last year, the six actors were seen introducing the themes of their upcoming series. All of them took chances to create a mysterious base for what to expect from the series. The show will be replete with "Lies, Passion, Deceit, Society, Power, Family, Anger, Friends, Survival, Secrets, Many Many Secrets, Hush Hush".

Kopal Nathani and Sikha Sharma are executive directors of the show, Tanuja Chandara is the creative director and Juhi Chaturvedi is the scriptwriter.

The official introduction of the series read, "As we celebrate women around us today, we are excited to share our new untitled series, a story about strong female protagonists and helmed by some of the finest female talents behind the camera! Get ready for Hush Hush, created by Abundantia Entertainment, only on Amazon Prime Video."

The show will be based on the lives of six female protagonists who steer through the patriarchal society to take a stand for what they wish, aspire and desire.

On April 28, 2022, Amazon Prime Video made an official Tweet anticipating the release of the upcoming female-oriented series. The OTT platform shared a poster of the show with the caption, "#HushHushOnPrime: Get ready to expect the unexpected. The lives of five women intersect in unexpected ways when an unforeseen event unravels the façade of their lives".

The series is expected to come out this summer or later in the year.
