Shefali Shah Starrer 'Human' Season 2 To Be Announced Shortly?

Human season 2 is expected to be announced by the makers soon. The show released its first season on Disney Plus Hotstar in January 2022 and received a positive critical response and was loved by viewers.

Disney Plus Hotstar's Human was an awakening drama series that showcases the reality of medical testing on humans and the scams and corruption that lies within the system. The show premiered on January 14, 2022, and starred Shefali Shah and Kirti Kulhari in lead roles. After the immense success of season one of the show, the makers are reportedly thinking of announcing the second season in the near future.

Human Season 2 To Be Announced Shortly?

Human was directed and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and the eye-opening medical drama's success reportedly compelled Disney Plus Hotstar as well as Shah to think about a sequel to the series. The early reports suggest that the makers might be making an official announcement about season 2 of the series in the next few weeks. There might also be some additional cast members reportedly joining the series for the second season. It will be great to watch how the story will be reprised for the second season.

Meanwhile, season 1 of the show featured Kirti and Shefali collaborating for the first time. Kirti played the role of Dr Saira Sabharwal, a Cardia specialist who joins multi-speciality hospital Manthan with great enthusiasm. Dr Gauri Nath, one of the country's leading neurosurgeons heads the hospital and for Saira, she is a role model. The two of them get close at work but when a drug trial goes wrong, they are stuck in a dangerous battle that will affect their life, relations and ambitions.

Shefali Shah was last seen in Vidya Balan starrer crime thriller Jalsa in which she played Rukhsana, a grieving mother whose daughter is murdered but her death is declared an accident after which she sets to seek justice. She will next be seen in Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Doctor G and her much-awaited collaboration with Alia Bhatt titled Darlings. She also has Delhi Crime season 2 set to release on Amazon Prime in 2022. Meanwhile, Kirti Kulhari is gearing up for the release of Four More Shots Please 3.
