House of Dragon release date: House of the Dragon, the prequel to the American fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones, has been revived. The series will be released worldwide.
The series is based on George R. R. Martin's 2019 novel "Fire & Blood". Set two hundred years before the start of Game of Thrones, the series follows the beginning of House Targaryen's demise, as well as the events leading up to the "Dance of the Dragons" and the conflict itself.
House of Dragon Plot:
More than four centuries before the events of the first Game of Thrones series, the Targaryens arrived on Dragonstone. After Aegon I's conquest of Westeros, the Dance of the Dragons was fought between 129 and 131 A.D. While the plot of the sequel has yet to be divulged by the makers, the book on which it is based chronicles conflicts between siblings, partners, children, faithful followers, and, most brutally, Targaryen dragons.

Paddy Considine plays King Viserys Targaryen, Emma D'Arcy plays Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Matt Smith plays Prince Daemon Targaryen, and Olivia Cooke plays Alicent Hightower in House of the Dragon.
