K-dramas are thought to be primarily about love, romance and comedy to many people but it is only for those who haven't explored other Korean content yet. There are some great kdramas that are based on suspense, thriller, adventure and horror that are not yet experienced by many.

In 2022, All Of Us Are Dead introduced many people to the thrilling world of Korean horror and became a worldwide favourite. Season 2 of the series was announced officially by Netflix on June 6 and will soon be back to thrill the fans. However, while you wait for season two of the series to release, here are horror kdramas on Netflix that you can watch.

All Of Us Are Dead

If you haven't yet watched this popular kdrama then you are surely missing out. The kdrama is based on a zombie apocalypse in a high school and features the survival of the students trapped in the school. The series released on Netflix on January 28, 2022 and starred Lomon, Cho Yi-hyun, Chna Young-yoon and Park Ji-hoo in pivotal roles. The series was renewed for a second season on June 6, 2022 that is reportedly expected to release in 2023.

The Witch: Part 1

This 2018 Netflix series starred Kim Da-mi. Choi Woo-shik, Go Min-si and Jo Min-su in pivotal roles. The series is about a young high school girl Ja-yoon who leads a seemingly ideal life but harbours a secret; she was a subject for a secret project of the government that gave some children superpowers and now some officials from the government are searching frantically for these children. The movies shows the struggles of the vengeful children to escape the officials.

Kingdom

Starring Ju Ji-hoon, Bae Doona, Kim Seong-gyoo and Kim Hye-jun in pivotal roles, this 2019 horror kdrama is the story of Joseon dynasty that is threatened by an unknown, mysterious illness that spread across the kingdom. The illegitimate son of the King, a physician's assistant and the loyal bodyguard of the illegitimate prince team up to solve the mystery while they fight the zombies invading the kingdom.

Sweet Home

The title of the series seems really nice but the series is actually one of the most thrilling horror kdramas starring Song Kang, Lee Do-hyun, Lee Si-young and Go Min-si in pivotal roles. The story is about a monster apocalypse and disease outbreak that turns people's strong desires into monsters. The people of an apartment complex come together to live in the new world while holding on to humanity.

Released in 2019, this horror thriller on Netflix features the story of a Yoon Jong-wo, a struggling crime fiction writer who finds it hard to make the ends meet with his meagre income from his internship. He unwillingly lives in a creepy little apartment as it is the only one that he can afford. However, he has creepy roommates and things become even creepier when a charismatic new neighbour enters their life.

Save Me

Starring Seo Ye-ji, Ok Taecyeon, Woo Do-hwan and Jo Sung-ha, this 16 episode long 2017 series on Netflix is based on a girl Im Sang-mi whose family moves to Seoul and gets trapped by a malicious religious cult known for its notorious activities and dark secrets. Desperate to set free from the cult, Sang-mi is helped by four of her former classmates who rescue her from the clutches of the dark cult.
