Honsla Rakh trailer: The trailer of upcoming Punjabi romantic-comedy Honsla Rakh was released on September 27. The film features Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh in the lead, alongside Shehnaaz Gill and Sonam Bajwa. Ever since the trailer was released Gill's name has been trending on social media, with fans sending their love to the actor who lost her boyfriend earlier this month.

Honsla Rakh is the story of a Punjabi man living in Canada who ends up caring for his son singlehandedly after things turn sour between him and his partner due to the pregnancy. Dosanjh's character gradually learns the ropes of parenting and years pass by. He eventually decides to move on from his past failed relationship and finds love again, only to have his ex make a comeback into his life.
Directed by Amarjit Singh Saroon, the film also featured Gippy Grewal's son Shinda Grewal. ItΒ will release worldwide on October 15.
Gill has been dealing with the death of her boyfriend Sidharth Shukla for the past few weeks. A noted television actor and winner of Bigg Boss season 13, Shukla passed away at the age of 40 from a heart attack on September 2. Gill was also a co-contestant on the same season of the popular reality television show and their pairing had developed a huge social media following. Thus, Shukla's untimely death had come as a shock to the couple's fanbase too.
