Hocus Pocus 2 Trailer
The ">trailer for Hocus Pocus 2 gave a glimpse into the origin story of the Sanderson sister who apparently got their magic from a mysterious witch played by Waddingham.
Set 29 years after the events of the Hocus Pocus, three high school students (played by Peak, Buckingham, and Escobedo) join hands to stop the Sanderson sisters from wreaking havoc on the town of Salem, Massachusetts.
Shortly before the sisters were executed, Winifred cast a curse that would resurrect them if a virgin lit the Black Flame Candle in their cottage. The teenagers accidentally brought the Sanderson sisters back to life after they lit the candle.
The witchy sisters are determined to stay alive past sunrise this time and try to hunt down the teenagers and steal their souls.
The Hocus Pocus 2 trailer featured callbacks to the original 1993 fantasy comedy film, a witch riding a hoverboard, the comedic yet villainous trio of the Sanderson sisters, resourceful teenagers, and one-liners.
