Hindi Films Releasing In March 2022: Because of the tremendous success and craze of recently released films in theatres or on OTT, the makers are now finally releasing their films that have been on hold for the past two years due to the pandemic. The box office revenues of last year's releases, such as Pushpa: The Rise, and more recent ones, such as Gangubai Kathiawadi, Valimai, and Bheemla Nayak, have confirmed that the theatre business is on the mend after nearly two years of being crippled by the COVID-19 crisis. 

In March, bigger names like RRR and Prabhas's Radhe Shyam and Akshay Kumar's Bachchhan Paandey will be gracing the big screens, with some of the year's most anticipated films on the horizon. Meanwhile, for those who want to watch movies at home, OTT will continue to increase the entertainment aspect. Here is a list of the Hindi films' release schedule in March.

Jhund

Jhund is an upcoming Hindi-language biographical sports film from India. Nagraj Manjule wrote and directed the film, which stars Amitabh Bachchan, Akash Thosar, and Rinku Rajguru.

Based on the true story of Vijay Barse, a retired sports instructor who created Slum Soccer as a non-profit organisation. He was able to rehabilitate street youngsters by turning them into soccer players and forming a squad to keep them away from drugs and crime. In the film, Bachchan plays a professor who inspires the street kids to join a football team.

The film will be released in theatres on March 4, 2022.

Toolsidas Junior

Mridul Mahendra's Toolsidas Junior is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language sports drama film. Sanjay Dutt, Rajiv Kapoor, Dalip Tahil, and Varun Buddhadev play the key roles in the film. The story follows a 13-year-old child, played by Buddhadev, who seeks vengeance for his father's failure in a game of snooker.

The film will be released in theatres on March 4, 2022.

Radhe Shayam

Radhe Shyam, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, is an upcoming Indian period romance drama film written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. It was shot in Telugu and Hindi at the same time. The sci-fi film's first trailer depicted a remarkable journey filled with love. On March 2nd, at 3 p.m., the second trailer for the Sci-Fi love story will be released.

The film will be released in theatres on March 11, 2022.

The Kashmir Files

The Kashmir Files is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language film starring Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher, written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The film depicts the early 1990s exodus of Kashmiri Hindus as a result of the Kashmir Insurgency. The film was scheduled to open in theatres around the world on January 26, 2022, to coincide with India's Republic Day, but it was delayed owing to the Omicron variant spread.

The film will now be released in theatres on March 11, 2022.

Bachchhan Paandey

Farhad Samji directs Bachchan Paandey, an upcoming Hindi-language action comedy film from India. Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arshad Warsi feature in this film. Myra (Kriti Sanon), a young director, wants to make a film about gangsters. Bachchan Pandey (Akshay Kumar), a brutal criminal, is the man she picks. Her covert efforts to conduct research on him, however, fail when she is discovered snooping on him.

The film will be released in theatres on March 18, 2022.

Jalsa

The drama-thriller film Jalsa, directed by Suresh Triveni, stars Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah in major roles. After a life-changing event, two women from opposite ends of society find themselves at a crossroads, with one seeking redemption and the other harbouring a spiteful hatred.

On March 18, the film will have its global premiere on Amazon Prime Video in India, as well as in 240 other countries and territories around the world.

RRR

RRR is an upcoming Telugu-language period action drama film directed by S. S. Rajamouli, which will also be dubbed in Hindi with the same cast. Jr. NTR and Ram Charan star in the film, which also has Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in cameo parts.

RRR was set to hit theatres on July 30, 2020, but was repeatedly postponed owing to production problems, and was then followed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, the film will be released in theatres on March 25, 2022.
