Darlings
Starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma, Darlings features the story of a quirky mother-daughter belonging to the lower middle class section of Mumbai who navigate through difficult situations to find a place for themselves in the world. The movie trailer showed Vijay Raaz as Hamza Shaikh who goes missing according to his wife Badru (Bhatt) and mother-in-law (Shah). However, he is held captive by the mother-daughter and tortured while the police searches for him. The movie releases on Netflix on August 5.
Miami Se New York
Made under the direction of Joy Augustine and Raakesh U Saakat's production, this movie stars Arjun Anand, Nihana Minaz, Janelle Lacle, Nikhaar Krishnani and Rohini Chandra in pivotal roles. The story is about four girls on a trip to New York from Miami who are looking for a drive and a driver. However, the driver they get is an innocent guy unlike them who are adventurous and trouble-maker. They drag him into their shenanigans filled with dangers, drunk rendezvous and a little romance. The movie releases on August 5 in cinemas.
Raksha Bandhan
The movie stars Deepika Khanna, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth and Sadia Khateeb as sisters of chaat shop owner Lala Kedarnath played by Akshay Kumar who has promised his dying mother that he will get married only after he has married off her sisters. Meanwhile, Lala's lover Sapna, played by Bhumi Pednekar, family is looking for a groom for her as they can no longer wait for his sister's marriages. Catch the story of brother-sister bond and love as in cinemas on August 11.

The official Hindi remake of 1994 American movie Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha stars Aamir Khan in the lead role of Laal Singh Chaddha and Kareena Kapoor in the role of Rupa, his childhood love. The movie features the extraordinary journey of a man with low IQ who goes through various circumstances with the hope to reunite with his childhood love. The movie also stars Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya and Manav Vij in important roles and releases in theatres in August 11.
Dobaaraa
Based on the 2018 Spanish mystery drama Mirage, this movie stars Taapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati in lead roles. The movie is about a woman who connects with a 12-year-old boy who died in a thunderstorm 25 years ago and is able to save his life through television. However, this ends up her being caught in a reality altering space-time glitch. Directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Ektaa Kapoor, the movie is set to release in theatres on August 19.
Thai Massage
Starring Gajraj Rao and Divyenndu Sharma in lead roles, this heartwarming comedy-drama by Imitiaz Ali will feature a 70-year-old man who suffers from erectile dysfunction. The movie is set in Thailand and Ujjain and features the journey of the man in the dusk of his life trying to find a cure for his problem. In the official announcement of the movie, it was stated that the movie will be a family entertainer and the 'coming of age of a 70-year-old'. The movie releases on August 26.
