New Hindi film releases April 2022: This month has some of the most anticipated releases of Bollywood that have been waiting for the pandemic to go down to go on floors. These movies are all ready to hit the screens and entertain the audience.

2022 has a lot in store for the movie buffs with new online and offline Bollywood releases scheduled. Till now, we have seen some blockbusters smashing the box office which fills up with excitement for the coming films. April 2022 also has some great movies lined up for release that have either been delayed due to the pandemic or were stuck with the production work.

Hindi Film Releases April 2022

Attack

John Abraham, Rakul Preet Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez's upcoming action thriller will be releasing cinemas on April 1, 2022. The movie is helmed by Lakshya Raj Anand and features the story of an army veteran whose inner demons trouble him day and night. He decides to volunteer for a experiment by the government that makes him a cybertronic humanoid, sort of a super-soldier to fight against terrorism.

Dasvi

This is an upcoming comedy film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles. The film releasing on April 7 will follow the journey of a Chief Minister, an uneducated politician, who decides to complete his class 10th while he is serving his time in jail. The movie is said to be inspired from the real life of former Haryana CM Om Prakash Chautala.

Jersey

Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur's much awaited film Jersey will finally be releasing on April 14. The movie, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, is the sequel of the Telugu film with the same title that released in 2019. The movie follows the life of Arjun, a 36 year old who quit his cricket career when he was young but decides to go back on the field and play for the National team, all for his son's desire to get a jersey.

Heropanti 2

The sequel to the popular 2014 film that introduced Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff in the industry, Heropanti 2 will star Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie the romantic action thriller is set to release on April 29 and its first song Dafa Kar was released on March 26.

Runway 34

Releasing in the theatres on April 29, this thriller drama will be featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, Aakanksha Singh and Angira Dhar in pivotal roles. The story of the film is said to be inspired from the true events that happened on August 18, 2015. The flight 9W 555 of the Jet Airways flying from Doha to Kochi escaped narrowly from a possible casualty that could have happened because of bad weather and visibility that led to difficulty in proper landing of the flight at the Cochin International Airport.
