Dasvi, is latest comedy film with a social message, will be released shortly and will star Nimrat Kaur, Yami Gautam, and Abhishek Bachchan as Gangaram Chaudhary, a corrupt and uneducated politician, on his trip to prepare for the tenth board test from prison. According to the teaser, the film is a social comedy set in a community with a unique take on the right to education. On April 7, 2022, it will be available to view on Netflix and Jio Cinemas.

Stree is a 2018 Hindi-language comedy horror film from India. The storey begins in Chanderi, a small village that is cursed by a strange mystery. During this specific season, the spirit of an enraged woman haunts men. When men are alone on these four nights, the ghost known simply as "Stree" reaches out to them. Stree whisks the men away, leaving only their clothes behind if they turn around. Rajkummar Rao, Chanderi's wonder man and tailor extraordinaire, falls in love with a mysterious girl (Shraddha Kapoor) who only appears during the four days of the festive season. Her disappearance makes his friends suspicious, and they begin to suspect that she is the Stree who has been haunting the city for a long time.

The plot contains a number of humorous moments, comic punches, and scary sequences, but it also contains a powerful social message against misogyny and chauvinism, both of which are social evils.

Dream Girl

Dream Girl is a Hindi-language comedy film from India that was released in 2019. The plot centres on Karam (Ayushmann Khurrana), who plays Sita and Radha in local plays. He is highly regarded in the little village of Gokul for his roles and, more importantly, his ability to modulate his voice. However, neither he nor his father, Jagjit Singh (Annu Kapoor), are happy with it. His father wants him to get a meaningful job where he won't have to play a woman, and Karam is adamant that he will only take these roles until he finds one. Which he does soon enough, but there's one catch: he has to work as "Pooja" in a call centre for sex conversations. Soon, "Pooja" has a slew of guys and a girl falling for her.

The film discusses depression and loneliness, and the last monologue preaches the importance of everyone getting out of their busy, online lives and finding a real person with whom to confide.

Angrezi Medium is a comedic drama film in Hindi that was released in India in 2020. Champak (Irrfan Khan), who was born and raised in Udaipur (Rajasthan), is raising his only daughter, Tarika (Radhika Madan), who is about to complete high school and begin on another scholastic journey. But, unlike her father, she doesn't want to confine her dreams to the area where she grew up; instead, she wants to see what else is out there. Champak gives in to his daughter's demands, unaware of what lies ahead, but things quickly spiral out of control when it comes to paying the huge costs.

Along with the funny subplots and scenes, the film revolves around this concept and sends a social message about how a single father goes to great lengths to make his daughter's dream come true, overcoming society's discriminatory standards.

Badhaai Do and Badhaai Ho

They are portrayed as non-heterosexual characters in this lighthearted comedy. The two marry in order to persuade their families to stop harassing them. The tale explores how LGBTQ+ communities continue to hide their sexual identities from the public view by appearing as heterosexual couples, although the communities have their own set of rights that allow them to live freely.

The film Badhaai Do is a sequel to the film Badhaai Ho(2018), and it stars Neena Gupta, Sanya Malhotra, Gajraj Rao, and Ayushmann Khurrana. Badhaai Ho follows a middle-aged couple who learn they are expecting a child, as well as their family and relatives' reactions to the news.
