Hina Khan is bravely battling stage 3 breast cancer but is not letting it affect her spirit. She recently shared an update from her inspiring journey. She posted a close-up photo of her eyes, highlighting her "last standing eyelash" after undergoing chemotherapy. Describing it as a "brave, lone warrior," Hina reflected on her once beautiful eyelashes that adorned her eyes.Β

In her post, she expressed, "Wanna know what my current source of motivation is? This brave, lone warrior, my last standing eyelash, has fought through it all with me." As she nears the final cycle of her chemotherapy, she emphasised that this single eyelash serves as her motivation. "We shall see this all through. Yes, we will, InshaAllah." She also mentioned that she hasn’t worn false eyelashes in over a decade but has started doing so for her shoots, adding a light-hearted note, "Koi naaaaa... Sab theek ho jaana hai" (Everything will be fine).

Diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, Hina has been candidly sharing her journey on social media. This latest update follows a month after she shaved her head after transforming her long hair into a short pixie cut to manage the hair loss resulting from chemotherapy.

In the heartfelt video, Hina shared a note saying, "I loved wearing my hair so short, which I probably wouldn’t have done ever. Although I could not enjoy the short-hair phase long enough, it did look cool." She expresses her desire to keep the pixie look once her hair grows back.

The video included clips showing her significant hair loss on her clothes and pillows. Despite this, Hina delivers a strong, positive message about her approach to dealing with her illness. "You can win this only if you embrace yourself and accept it, and I choose to accept my battle scars Because I believe that if you embrace yourself, you’re one step closer to healing," she says.

Despite the inevitable physical pain that comes with cancer, Hina Khan has chosen to concentrate on maintaining her mental strength and reducing stress as much as possible. By doing so, she aims to make coping with the physical pain more manageable.

She recently took to Instagram to share a video of herself back at work, where her team was helping to conceal her scars. In the video, she is seen wearing a wig and stating, "The show must go on."

In her post, Hina revealed that this was her first work assignment since her diagnosis. She acknowledged the difficulties of staying positive while facing significant life challenges and advised others to be kind to themselves on tough days. "Give yourself a break on bad days; it’s okay. You deserve it. But don’t forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how few they are," she wrote. Hina encouraged everyone to accept and embrace changes and to normalise living life despite such struggles.

She pointed out that undergoing treatment doesn't mean always being in the hospital, urging everyone to normalise working if they have the strength and energy to do so. "FYI I am undergoing treatment, but I am not always in the hospital. Let’s normalise working, and if you have the strength and energy, do whatever makes you happy," Hina shared.
