Hey Sinamika is soon going to be streaming online. The film stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Dulquer Salmaan and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles. The title of the film is borrowed from Mani Ratnam's O Kadhal Kanmani and marks the debut of Brinda Parameshwar as a filmmaker, who is a choreographer and has worked closely with Ratnam.
The rom-com had released theatrically on March 3 this year. This love triangle revolves around Yaazhan, played by Dulquer, and Mouna, played by Hydari who start testing each other once they get married. When another woman enters Yaazhan's life, Mouna begins to feel insecure. Does she actually want him back, or is she simply jealous of her partner moving?
Toward the end of the first half, another character named Malarvizhi, played by Aggrawal, is introduced. She is a relationship counsellor who is approached by Mouna. However, Mouna's agenda isn't to mend her relationship with her estranged husband to catch him cheating with another woman so that she can divorce him easily. Things get messier when Malarvizhi too develops feelings for Yaazhan, who feels conflicted about love and relationships due to his new experiences. Who does Yaazhan love? Will Mouna finally sort out her feelings towards her ex? Will she move on in life or will she chose to mend things with Yaazhan?
