Only Murders In The Building 2 release date was announced by the makers, and the show is returning to beat the summer heat. Catch the murder mystery-solving trio back to business as they become suspects in a new murder.

Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin led Only Murders In The Building to follow the lives of people in Arconia, an apartment complex in New York City. The only problem with the residential complex is that it has become a hub of criminal activities as back to back murders keep happening.

The trio consisting of Mabel, Charles and Olive, being huge fans of a true-crime podcast, decide to solve the first murder mystery of Mabel's friend and succeed in it. However, there soon is a second murder in one of the buildings and this time, the suspects are none other than the investigating trio themselves.

Only Murders In The Building 2 Release Date

Season one of the show ended with Mabel, Olive and Charles celebrating their success of finding the real culprit and a glimpse of what will happen in the next season as we see Mabel covered in blood and crouching next to a dead body. The scene is followed by the trio getting arrested as suspects for the murder.

The teaser of the new season gave a little more detail into what's happening. The teaser begins with the trio announcing on their true-crime podcast that they will not be staying quiet and continue revealing real culprits.

In the second season, as per the synopsis released on Hulu, fans will witness the murder of Bunny Fogler, the Arconia Board President. The trio, as expected, will start investigating the case, but a few complications will lead them to become the prime suspects in the murder. They soon become the subjects of a rival true-crime podcast and also of the hate and suspicion of the neighbours who think of them as culprits.

Season 2 will see the trio dealing with their neighbours, the rival podcast and the investigation as they try to clear their name and find the real culprit. Meanwhile, it is reported that the new season will have some new cast members, including Cara Delevigne, Amy Schumer, Michael Rapaport, Andrea Martin, Shirley MacClaine and Zoe Colletti.

The second season will be ten episodes long and will release its first two episodes on June 28, 2022. From then onwards, the show will release one episode every Tuesday until August 23.
