It seems like a candid shot with Hema Malini's eyes close, both the daughters looking sideways and smiling while Dharmendra is the only one looking straight in the camera. Hema Malini is a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party. Along with her, Smriti Irani, her colleague and fellow party member, also tweeted a post on the National Girl Child Day. Irani is the mother of Zoish Irani, her daughter and Zohr Irani, her son.

While the National Commission For Women Chairperson Rekha Sharma tweeted a picture of her granddaughter and wrote, "Wishing every girl child health happiness, and love today and always. #NationalGirlChildDay #BabyOfTheFamily #granddaughter." Sharma is also going to address the nation on the #NationalGirlChildDay webinar named Save The Girl Child, today. In the webinar, they will be talking about issues concerning health, awareness and freedom of girls.
The National Girl Child Day is celebrated every year in India on January 24. It is an initiative by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. This day is about raising awareness on the rights of girl children and promoting awareness on their issues like health, education and nutrition.
