Actor and politician Hema Malini, renowned for her expertise in classical dance, is set to deliver a special performance based on the Ramayana during the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22. The event, graced by celebrities from diverse fields, will be initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Moreover, Malini, in a captivating Ramayana dance held in Ayodhya on January 17 in anticipation of the grand inauguration, left the audience spellbound alongside Vishal Nayak. Their performance, depicting the characters of Sita and Ram respectively, has garnered attention, with images from the event circulating on the internet.
In reference to the performance, Hema Malini shared with ANI, "This programme has been organised by Swami Rambhadracharya. He has organised a 10-day programme. I am fortunate to be here during this time. The whole of Bollywood is ‘Ramamay’. The artists are singing Ram songs. I also sang a Ram Bhajan last year. Everybody is preparing everything on Ram."
Hema Malini To Perform At Ram Mandir Ceremony In Ayodhya
Responding to a query about the potential establishment of a Krishna temple at Krishna Janmasthal in Mathura, Hema Malini expressed, as reported by Mid Day, "It should definitely be there. Mathura and Vrindavan are cities with temples. The ‘Janmashtal’ is Lord Krishna’s place… There is a beautiful temple."

Following the consecration ceremony on January 22, 2024, the idol of Lord Ram is slated to be installed at the grand Ayodhya temple, with invitations extended to numerous Bollywood celebrities. A host of A-listers from various industries, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kangana Ranaut, Amitabh Bachchan, and others, have been invited to attend the significant event.
Rituals are scheduled to continue until January 21, leading up to the consecration day. On the said day, only essential ceremonies for Pran Pratishtha are set to take place, as per Ram temple trust officials. The Pran Pratishtha for the Ram temple is planned to commence at 12:20 pm on January 22, with expectations for its conclusion by 1 pm.
