Heize Talks About Starring Alongside Vincenzo Actor Song Joong Ki In 'Happen'

South Korean singer Heize dropped her new music video today featuring the current k-drama sensation Song Joong Ki. The singer-rapper, who starred alongside the Vincenzo actor in the music video titled Happen, opened up about her worries regarding the collaboration.

According to All Kpop, Heize was concerned that she might ‘disturb’ Song Joong Ki while he was ‘trying to understand the scenes’ in the new track.

“I was really worried I would disturb him as Song Joong Ki sunbaenim was trying to understand the scenes and how he would act out his facial expressions, so I worried alone a lot,” Heize said.

“He's someone who came to help me, and I was afraid I would be disturbing him. However, apart from that, it was an honour, and I'm so grateful," she added.

The solo artist released her seventh mini-album Happen along with the music video for the title song on May 20 at 6 p.m. KST.

The newly released track is about crossing paths with someone who makes you question whether you're meant to come across them in life. The visually pleasing video of Happen revolves around two people who are destined to meet.

Earlier,  P NATION’s CEO and singer PSY took to Instagram to share the news of Heize’s comeback. He confirmed that Song Joong Ki would be a part of the much-anticipated comeback.

“Heize is a respectable artist who has been single-handedly writing songs for her entire album long before joining us here at P NATION,” PSY wrote in his post.

He mentioned that he thought of Song Joong Ki the moment he listened to Heize’s title track. PSY thanked actor Song Joong Ki for agreeing to take part in the new music video and concluded the note with “Thank you Vincenzo!!”.

Who is Song Joong Ki?

The South Korean actor Song Joong Ki made his comeback to the screen with the k-drama Vincenzo, the sixth-highest rated series in tv history. The actor essays the role of an Italian mafia lawyer, Vincenzo Cassano, in the crime drama.

Besides that, Joong Ki featured in the 2021 release Space Sweepers streaming on Netflix. The  Jo Sung-hee directorial is a sci-fi film set in 2092 when Earth has become nearly uninhabitable, and the plot follows a crew of space sweepers and their ship, the Victory.
