The original cast of the very popular Harry Potter franchise will be reunited 20 years after the first film was released. They will come together for a special titled "Return to Hogwarts" to be released on HBO Max on 1st January 2022.
The iconic franchise is all set to come back to celebrate the 20 years of the release of the first film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The first film was released on 16th November 2001. Popular actors Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson will join American filmmaker Chris Columbus to walk back memory lane and discuss how the films came together.

The actor trio and the director will be joined by Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy).
Radcliff who essayed the role of Potter told during a BBC interview, “The time in most people’s lives when they discovered it meant that it has an incredibly important place in a lot people’s childhoods, and they still feel very protective over it."
Emma Watson who plays Hermione Granger, wrote on Instagram, "Harry Potter was my home, my family, my world and Hermione (still is) my favorite fictional character of all time. I think a journalist once said it was irritating how many times during an interview I mentioned how lucky I was and started counting… BUT I DAMN WELL KNEW!!! And still know."
The channel HBO max invited viewers “on a magical first-person journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time”. The Potter franchise is based on seven the books written by JK Rowling. She later expanded the universe to include the Fantastic Beasts film series.
