Aatish Kapadia and JD Majethia, the producers behind Khichdi and Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai, have now entered the world of streaming platforms by releasing the trailer for their upcoming web series, Happy Family: Conditions Apply.
Cast members include Ratna Pathak Shah, Raj Babbar, Atul Kulkarni, Ayesha Jhulka, Sanah Kapur, Meenal Sahu, Raunaq Kamdar, and Ahaan Saboo, with Ratna Pathak Shah serving as the show's presenter.

Four generations of a family share a home and experience life's many ups and downs together. The large joint family vacations in Matheran, a hill town close to Mumbai. It also raises questions about how they handle family crises, how they view homosexuality, and how the family wants to remain together. All of this is done with satirical and occasionally slapstick humour.
The web series focuses on the close and dysfunctional Gujarati family who live together.

In a joint statement, the show's creators and directors, Aatish Kapadia and JD Majethia spoke about how they believe that comedy works best when it portrays everyday situations. They described the Dholakias as a loving but eccentric family that reflected joint families.
The creators added they were excited to collaborate with Prime Video and said their vision had been beautifully realised thanks to the cast and crew working together.
Ratna Pathak Shah spoke about her role in the web show and said there was a "certain joy" in playing the role of a character who is unabashedly themselves. She added that her character, Hemlata Dholakia is unintentionally hilarious.
Actor Raj Babbar mentioned that Family Family: Conditions Apply is his first role in a comedy. He added that the film had everything, from drama to romance to arguments and reconciliation.
Beginning on March 10 with four episodes, Happy Family: Conditions Apply will then release two new episodes every Friday until March 31.
