Fireworks lit up the Sunday night sky during the ‘varmala’ ceremony. Hansika and Sohael were also seen holding hands after the ceremony in one of the videos. Motwani choose the traditional classic red lehenga while the groom complimented her look by opting for an ivory sherwani. While she is yet to share official photos from the wedding, the actress dropped her first pictures on her Instagram stories. Motwani completed her appearance with a low ponytail, silver jhumkas, and appropriate light makeup for the setting. Her hand had wedding henna on it when the photos were taken, and the lovely pattern was stunning. She soaked up the wedding fever as two mehendi artists painted henna on her hands.
At the mehendi ceremony, Hansika Motwani was joined by her future husband, Sohael Khaturiya. Khaturiya sat beside her and danced as the henna was put on her hands. The sangeet ceremony will reportedly take place on December 3. On December 4, the wedding is anticipated to take place at Jaipur's Mundota Fort. This lavish, 450-year-old palace is perched atop a hill in the Aravalli Range.
Hansika Motwani had previously shared a few glimpses of her romantic proposal. In front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Sohael Khaturiya got down on one knee and proposed to Hansika Motwani. Sharing pictures from the time, the actor wrote, "Now and Forever (black heart emoji)." Khaturiya commented on the post, "I love you my life (red heart emoji) #NowAndForever."
Sources claim that Khaturiya is a businessman who lives in Mumbai. He owns Avanté TexWorld, the leading multi-fibre manufacturer in the industry that produces suiting and shirting textiles in Mumbai, according to his personal Instagram bio.
