Gullak season 3 is all set to return to our screens on April 7, 2022. Set in a quaint North Indian Village, Season 3 much like the previous seasons will follow the Mishra Family as they embark upon a new journey in their lives.
Gullak, which made its debut with season 1, on June 27, 2019, follows a North Indian Mishra family, encapsulating the realities of growing up in a middle-class household. The clash between the parents and children due to differing opinions, the nostalgic feeling portrayed in the show resonated with the audience so much that it became an instant hit with its viewers.
Aptly named Gullak, meaning an earthen piggy bank, in Indian households, is the first step toward teaching children the virtue of saving money. The story follows the Mishra family of four, Matriarch Shanti Mishra, played by Geetanjali Kulkarni, Santosh Mishra, by Jameel Khan, older son Annu, played by Vaibhav Raj Gupta and younger Aman Mishra, played by Harsh Mayar. The first two seasons showcased two different themes, with the first season being a continuous story, whereas more anecdotes were a part of season 2, diverging from how season 1 was filmed.
Gullak Season 3 is all set to further the story of the Mishra clan, exploring their quirky dynamics and far from perfect realities. This season will not only focus on the complexities of their relationship with one another but also focus more on personal character development. The series beautifully captures the everyday mundane activities and experiences of any said Indian household, providing the audience with familiarity, and a medley of emotions that they can easily relate to.
