The Grammy Awards returned with its 65th edition with some great performances, powerful nominations and well-deserved award winners. One of the world's most prestigious musical award shows, the Grammys 2023 took place in Los Angeles at the Crypto Arena, with Trevor Noah as its host.
The Grammys 2023 proved monumental for Beyoncé as she broke an all-time record and won her 23rd award at the most celebrated musical award show. The musical great, who recently announced her 2023 world tour, grabbed a total of nine nominations this year.

Best Dance/Electronic album
The Best Dance/Electronic album nominations included Beyoncé for Renaissance (Winner), Diplo for Diplo, Bonobo for Fragments, Odesza for The Last Goodbye and Rufus Du Sol for Surrender. Breaking the record for most Grammy wins of all time, the singer-songwriter delivered a heartwarming speech after her award acceptance and earned a standing ovation from the audience.
Best Pop Solo
The Best Pop Solo Performance category included names like Adele for Easy on Me (Winner), Bad Bunny for Moscow Mule, Doja Cat for Woman, Harry Styles for As It Was, Lizzo -for About Damn Time and Steve Lacy for Bad Habit.
Best Global Music Performance
This category had two south Asian nominations in Arooj Aftab and Anoushka Shankar for their impeccable performance in Udhero Na. Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo Zikode swept away the award for their global performance in Bayethe giving tough competition to some great nominations including Burna Boy for Last Last, Matt B and Eddy Kenzo for Gimme Love, and Rocky Dawuni Featuring Blvk H3ro for Neva Bow Down.
Best R&B song
Beyoncé once again lifted the Grammy for her song Cuff It. She was nominated alongside Mary J Blige for Good Morning Gorgeous, Muni Long for Hrs & Hrs, Jazmine Sullivan for Hurt Me So Good and PJ Morton for Please Don’t Walk Away.
Best pop vocal album
Harry Styles grabbed the Grammy Award for his album Harry’s House. He was nominated alongside Abba for Voyage, Adele for 30, Coldplay for Music of the Spheres, and Lizzo for Special.
Best R&B performance
This category had singer-songwriter Muni Long take back home a Grammy for her performance in Hrs & Hrs. Long was nominated alongside industry greats like Beyoncé for Virgo’s Groove, Jazmine Sullivan for Hurt Me So Good, Lucky Daye for Over, and Mary J. Blige Featuring Anderson Paak for Here With Me.
Best Dance/Electronic Recording
Beyoncé's Break My Soul won the award for Best Dance Recording. The other nominations in this category included Bonobo for Rosewood, David Guetta & Bebe Rexha for I’m Good (Blue), Diplo & Miguel for Don’t Forget My Love, Kaytranada Featuring Her for Intimidated and Rüfüs Du Sol for On My Knees.
