The hit comedy-drama series Ginny And Georgia has been renewed for not one but for two more seasons. In addition, Sarah Glinski will join the Netflix series as the showrunner, replacing Debra J Fisher.
Netflix announced that Ginny And Georgia was renewed for season 3 and season 4. The over-the-top streaming platform made the announcement on Wednesday, May 17 during the Upfronts presentation.

Ginny And Georgia follows the mother-daughter duo of Georgia (Brianne Howey) and Ginny (Antonia Gentry) as they move into a new town to settle down.
Actors Sara Waisglass, Felix Mallard, Jennifer Robertson, Scott Porter, Katie Douglas, Raymond Ablack, and Chelsea Clark starred alongside the leads Howey and Gentry.
According to Variety, in January, the ratings for Ginny And Georgia season 2 surpassed Wednesday's ratings, which was at the number 1 spot on the Netflix Top 10 English TV List. It also became the most-watched title on the service for the week of January 2 to 8.
The opening numbers for Ginny And Georgia season 2 surpassed Emily In Paris season 3 and Cobra Kai season 5.
The latest season was executive produced by showrunner Fisher and creator Sarah Lampert. Now, Sarah Glinski will take over the role of showrunner for the upcoming seasons. She is best known for serving as a producer for Degrassi: The Next Generation.
Ginny And George premiered on February 24, 2021, and season two was released earlier this year on January 5, 2023.
The first season drew some criticism for its writing, however after season 2 aired, netizens praised the show for its improvement from season 1.
