Gigi Hadid's 'Unforgettable' Trip To India: From Living Bollywood Dream To Enjoying Mumbai Streets

Gigi Hadid is madly in love with India. She arrived in Mumbai on Friday for the official opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), and she has been gushing about the country's beauty ever since. On Monday, she turned to Instagram to thank the Ambani family for bringing her to India and introducing her to Indian culture.

Gigi Hadid described her recent vacation to India as an "unforgettable first trip."  The model toured the Gateway of India, wearing stunning clothes by Indian designers, and attended the NMACC's 'Fashion in India' exhibition and The Great Indian Musical.

She took to Instagram on Monday to post a slew of photos from her trip to Mumbai. She stood with her pals in front of the Gateway of India in the first shot, which is monochromatic. She also uploaded an image of herself in a saree at the NMACC event on her second day, when she posed with Nita Ambani. She also uploaded images from the event, which included a performance and Isha Ambani socializing with the audience.

She posted another photo from a Mumbai street, this time with her arms around her companions. The supermodel also shared a photo of herself drinking coconut water from a street vendor. She also went to church. She chose a black and white shirt with green flared pants and white sneakers for the day out.

On Sunday, Gigi Hadid was also trending when a video of her and Varun Dhawan went viral on social media. In the clip, which was from day 2 of the event, Dhawan is seen performing on stage in a shimmery silver vest and black pants. Later, he brought Hadid to the platform scooped her up, spun her around, and returned her to her feet once she was on stage. Dhawan also kissed her on the cheek.

Several netizens took to Twitter to lambast the actor for his actions on stage. Hitting back at the Twitter user, Varun Dhawan came out in open and said that it was “planned”. Gigi Hadid also re-posted the video on her Instagram stories, writing, "Varun Dhawan making my Bollywood dreams come true," followed by laughing emojis.
