In an episode of a popular television talk show, actor Riteish Deshmukh had said that he has allowed his wife Genelia Deshmukh to ask him only 10 questions a day. To this Genelia recently replied in an interview with Hindustan Times, "I ask whatever I need to ask, he can reply or not, that’s his choice. There is a saying, ‘happy wife, happy life’, and he knows that very well." The two of them are going to co-host an interactive game show named Ladies Vs Gentlemen which is going to be Genelia's first show after the sabbatical she took after her wedding.
The couple started courting in the early 2000s and got married in 2012. Now they are parents to two boys Rahyl and Riaan. Genelia is often seen gushing over her husband Riteish on her social media handles. She also talks about how proud she is of her husband for treating her as an equal. When Riteish said that he is proud to be called Genelia's husband, in an Instagram post, she wrote, "In a world where a woman has to keep fighting to be treated as an equal. I'm treated as one without even asking. I need to let you know I am the proudest to be @Riteishd's baiko (wife). "
You make me so proud @Riteishd.

When asked about why they agreed to co-host Ladies Vs Gentlemen, Riteish replied, "It was something we thought was funny, quirky, thought-provoking and something which needs to be discussed."
While Genelia reflected on how she has had her career milestones with Riteish. She said, " I always say that my first film was with Riteish and before I went on this big sabbatical, the last film I did was with Riteish as well. So to be back again with him, I am looking for something very special."
"We are looking forward to working together," she added.
