Gehraiyaan, the much-anticipated movie releases tomorrow, i.e., February 11. The Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer touches upon the themes of infidelity and modern relationships. Let's now more about the release of the film.
The movie is about the lives of Alisha, Tia and Zain and their love triangle. Alisha, Tia's cousin and Zain, Tia's fiancé find solace in each other as they both are struggling with their lives and relationships and embark on a secret journey to find love until they face a rough patch leading to revelations and confrontations. The Shakun Batra directorial has been the topic of news recently with Assistant Directors getting Covid positive to adding intimacy director on the team and giving mentions to her in film's credits.

Alisha (Deepika), a yoga trainer, is stuck as both her professional and love life are messed up. Her cousin, Tia (Ananya), on the other hand, has got everything she wants, which Alisha envies at some level. Tia's fiance, Zain (Siddhant), does not seem happy with his relationship with Tia and is attracted towards Alisha. While Alisha resists the seemingly taboo relationship with her sister's betrothed, she can't deny the attraction and spark she feels and gives in.
Ahead of Gehraiyaan OTT release, three songs from the film, namely Doobey, Gehraiyaan Title Track and Beqaboo were released giving glimpses of the characters. The intimate scenes of the movie, which caught the attention of many viewers, were shot in the presence of Dar Gai, the intimacy director of the film.
Recently, Gehraiyaan received an A certificate and was cleared without undergoing any cuts from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The board, however, suggested a few changes which the makers did and it was given a heads up without any cuts. The movie will release on Amazon Prime on February 11 post midnight.
