Gauri Khan, a well-known interior designer, is gearing up to release her first book. The book, tentatively titled My Life in Design, tells the story of her career as a designer and the design philosophy that influenced the way she perceives beauty.
The Ebury Press imprint of Penguin Random House India will publish Khan's coffee-table book. The publishing house explained in a blog post that the businesswoman, who is the owner of the interior design firm Gauri Khan Designs (GKD), has long wished to put her thoughts and experiences in a structured way. She also thought that those who wanted to study design could benefit from her experience.
Khan's journey as a designer has been an original and exciting one, according to the blog post. From renovating her own home, "Mannat" in Mumbai, where her actor-husband Shah Rukh Khan and their children Suhana, Aryan, and AbRam reside, to designing commercial properties like retail outlets, restaurants, spas, and hotels. Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez are just a few of the Bollywood A-listers whose homes Khan is credited with designing.

The 49-year-old designer is cited in a press release as saying that the lockdown provided her enough time to finish the coffee-table book. The report said, "A treasure trove with never-before-seen photos of her work, family, and residence, readers are in for an exhilarating ride"
The designer also posted the information to Instagram. She published a family photograph of Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, Shah Rukh, and AbRam Khan. In the image, the family is twinned in black. Gauri Khan matches SRK's black ensemble, which includes a black t-shirt, black pants, and a leather jacket. Suhana, Aryan, and AbRam all opted for all-black ensembles. Khan's caption read, “Family is what makes a home… Excited for the @penguinindia coffee table book… coming soon.”
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan last made an appearance in the successful movie Pathaan. Both Deepika Padukone and John Abraham made appearances in the film. It achieved box office milestones. Among his upcoming films are Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki and Atlee's Jawan.
