Gauravzone Arrested Animal Cruelty: The Delhi-based YouTuber Gaurav Sharma has been arrested while his mother has been booked by the police for posting a video in which they floated Dollar, their pet dog up in the air by tying balloons.

Thirty-two-year-old Gaurav Sharma, who goes by the name Gauravzone on YouTube has 4.15 million subscribers on the platform. Yet the video that he recently uploaded of tying his dog with helium balloons and letting him “fly” drew immediate flak from his subscribers and animal activists.

- Delhi-based YouTuber Gaurav Sharma has been arrested for posting a video on his YouTube channel in which he tied balloons on his pet dog’s back and made him float in the air.
- The video was posted on May 21 with the title “Flying Dollar With Helium Gas Balloons”. In the video, his pet dog Dollar can be seen flying while Sharma says, "Let's make Dollar fly".
- Sharma has now said that he did take all safety precautions before making the video. "Please don't take it wrong. When we will fly Dollar, we will take all safety precautions," the YouTuber said.
- The video has already been deleted after the harsh criticism that came from other social media users.
- After deleting the video, the YouTuber posted another video in which he apologised for his actions. Sharma also admitted that he should not have made such a video.
- “I apologise for that and I will appeal to all of those watching to not get influence by my video” YouTuber Gauravzone said.
- But his apology did not calm the angered netizens. In the comment section of the apology video, some social media users wrote that the YouTuber should have made a video on what safety precautions were exactly taken for the dog.
- A case was also registered against Gaurav Sharma and his mother in Malviya Nagar police station after People for Animals raised an issue with the video.
- The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South Atul Athakhur said that Gaurav Sharma has been arrested on charges of animal cruelty as he risked the life of his pet by making the video for entertainment.
- The YouTuber’s mother who was also present in the video and can be seen cheering for the “flying dog” is also booked by the police.
