The trailer for Sara Ali Khan’s much-awaited upcoming suspense thriller, Gaslight, was released by its makers on Tuesday. Gaslight, directed by Pavan Kirpalani, is bankrolled by Ramesh Sadhuram Taurani and Akshai Puri under the banners of Tips Films Ltd. and 12th Street Entertainment, respectively.
Sharing the trailer on her social media handle, Sara Ali Khan wrote, "Shaq ka ghera hai badhta jaa raha. Akhir khooni hai kyun?" The suspense thriller is all set to be released on the OTT streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar.
Gaslight Trailer
The ">trailer opens with the royal family heir, a wheel-chair-bound Meesha (Sara Ali Khan), returning to her mansion after a long time. She had come home after being called by her father, instead, she was welcomed by Rukmini (Chitrangada Singh), her stepmother. It is evident that the two don’t share a great bond. Meesha asks Rukmini about her father’s whereabouts, and Rukmini tells her that he will be back in 3–4 days. However, her father doesn’t seem to be returning, and Meesha is concerned.
When Meesha asks Kapil (Vikrant Massey), the King’s loyal aide, he reveals that he only handles professional matters and is unaware of her father’s personal affairs. Mystery surrounds the air, and Meesha comes across a lot of strange events in the house, leading her to believe that her father has been murdered. As the story unfolds, Meesha realises she is surrounded by a web of lies and tries to unravel the deep, dark secrets behind her father’s murder.
The trailer looks captivating, and exciting, and promises a nail-biting, high-octane, edge-of-your-seat thriller.
Sara Ali Khan is seen in a completely different avatar and amazingly portrays a distressed yet determined daughter who is trying to solve the mystery behind her father’s disappearance. Chitrangada Singh seems convincing in playing a negative role, and Vikrant Massey is impressive as always.

The film stars Sara Ali Khan, Vikrant Massey, and Chitrangada Singh in the lead roles. Akshay Oberoi and Rahul Dev are seen to be playing supporting characters, among others.
Gaslight Release Date
Gaslight is scheduled to be released on March 31, 2023.
